About us

Our building has been a busy GP surgery in the heart of Rush town for over 30 years. The practice was set up originally by Dr Ismail and Dr Collette. It was later taken over by Dr Eva and Gergely Egyed. In 2022 Dr Justine Jordan took over the practice and established Lambay Family Practice. Dr Niall O’Connell joined as partner in 2023 and together they now work in partnership, bringing their extensive experience and values to the people of north county Dublin.

Dr Jordan loves the variety of General Practice but has a special interest in Emergency Medicine, Women’s Health, Dermatology and minor surgery. She has a valuable background in education and enjoys teaching young students and trainees.

Dr Niall O’Connell is a qualified physiotherapist and trained originally as a paediatrician. He has worked all over Ireland and in the UK and South Africa. He offers a wide range of services including joint injections, minor surgery and men’s health. He holds post graduate qualification in Dermatology also and offers cosmetic Botox injections too.

Nurse Ashley Gibney is dual-trained in general nursing and midwifery. Dr Blathnaid Raftery joined our team in 2023. She has a special interest in Psychiatry, polypharmacy and medicine for older persons.

Our experienced team of doctors and nurses offer a variety of medical services including general adult and paediatric general consultations, women’s health including menopause, minor surgery, maternity and infant care, childhood vaccines, Cervical Check screening, and management of chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, asthma and cardiovascular disease.
